How do I clear the history of pending recordings in My TV?

You mean you want to cancel them? Press the record button, and select cancel.

The history, to which I refer, displays a list of pending recordings that failed and are now past their broadcast time; they are therefore not outstanding. I've tried highlighting the entries, in the hope there would be an option to delete the entry but that doesn't work.

There is a History tab in My TV - that's where the still pending but failed recordings are displayed.

Is this in the app on your mobile/tablet? Or on the BT TV box?

Ah OK - there's currently no option to delete from the history. It'll disappear automatically after 7 days.
