BT TV Player 4K content

On the BT Player app on TV box the 4K section seems to have gone.

Has the (historic) content that was on this section been withdrawn and does this now mean that the BT Player has no 4K content ?

BT content is transitioning to new encoding and distribution platforms, meaning some legacy content has been removed from some platforms - this includes the Sport 4k section, where the back catalogue hasn't been re-encoded. This resulted in empty screens on platforms that have migrated.

BT Player still has all the old 4k content available (via search, or in other listings), but isn't listed separately anymore.

New content - yes, it's added every day.

New features - not sure what they have coming up.

Has the old 4K content now all gone from the EE TV player ?
