I have replaced my BT Hub with OPNsense and a TP-Link Router in bridged mode. And everything works fine on the network side but I have not been able to get TV to work, and just gives me an error telling me to check my broadband connection but the guide and everything works other than channels on the guide.

Has anyone been able to get it to work with OPNsense and if so, how?

Something to do with multicast, and quite possibly a specific check on the router identity.

Certainly, BT would only support issues with BT TV if a BT Hub was being used,

There's no specific check on the router - it just needs to properly support multicast. No support unless using a BT router though.
