      <description>&lt;P&gt;To eliminate that it is a remote issue. (ie the remote is not paired and commands not being received by the box) Try reseting the remote and then pair&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>When you say "nothing happened", did you at least see the lights on the remote flash to indicate that it had reset?&lt;BR /&gt;What if you press the big EE button at the top of the remote? Do you see the ring around it light up? Does it turn the box off?</description>

      <description>Scratch that, the box lost connection to the remote after i selected in maintenance mode Factory Reset (keep recordings).</description>
