    <description>&lt;P&gt;Wow! Wasn’t working and after a few minutes suddenly all the scheduled recordings changed to series record. So fingers crossed it is sorted!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Series recording not working on BT TV box (I think it's a G4; model number is 9100438)</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I had a BT You View box and it was recently replaced with a new BT EE recording box.&amp;nbsp; I think it is a G4.&amp;nbsp; The model number is 9100438.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I set up all my series linked recordings and then noticed I was missed episodes.&amp;nbsp; What I have discovered is that I choose a program, set it to record, it ask me if I want to record the episode or the series.&amp;nbsp; I choose series.&amp;nbsp; It will then record the next scheduled episode and then the series record disappears.&amp;nbsp; I have to keep going into the guide, finding the program and setting it to record again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Very frustrating and really not sure how to fix it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It doesn't seem linked to any one channel.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For example, the series I am currently (trying to!) recording are:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Taskmaster (channel 4)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Blue Lights (BBC1)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Changing ends (ITV)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Red Eye (ITV)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dopesick (BBC2).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've just noticed on my app it actually says 'episode scheduled' even though I have chosen series record - multiple times!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;HELP!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The single episode recording request is I believe made at the time when the r(ecord) button is pressed to select the programme. The subsequent screen that offers to choose record a series or episode effectively is really enabling the option to add series recording &amp;nbsp;(the initial single recording request already having been made),&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Let’s hope a maintenance mode reset (keeping recordings) clears the problem. The fact that the box is successfully making &amp;nbsp;single recordings from the schedule would suggest that the more drastic factory recording (deleting recordings) would not be necessary,&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>No joy. Did a maintenance mode reset and no joy. Still only recording single episodes.</description>
