Afraid not - there are no plans to change how the newer remote control pairing works. Your only alternative would be to purchase one of the older IR remotes, which will still work with the TV Box Pro and TV Box Mini.

I've tried the remote reset to control my new TV, but no joy, will EE ever have the code option like BT used to have or how often do they update, its annoying to have a new TV from Toshiba, so a known brand and I have to use 2 remotes, when sky was ok.

It's an ongoing & increasing problem whereby "known brands" are simple badge engineered from other manufacturers. So although you TV identifies as a Toshiba, it's probably a Vestel.

I doubt very much that it would be possible to add a code based setup to the new remote. Although the Pro Box will still respond to IR codes if you have, or were to purchase, an old remote.
