Remove now from ee - how long

I'm not a patient person 🙂 and want to get the now uhd boost so thinking of switching package from big sport to sport and going through now directly.

The question I have is how instant is this. E.g when my package is confirmed, can I just sign in to now with the credentials I used before linking to bt/ee or do i need to wait until the current add on month ends. What I mean by that is bt portal telling me movies add on will run until October 13th. Does that mean I'll stay actively subscribed via bt until that time so can't add it to direct now subscription.

Just looking for direction from anyone that's gone through a similar process to the above.

You'll need to wait until your NowTV via BT TV subscription ends and then hope they unlink your account.

You'll be much better off setting up a free Gmail account and using that with your NowTV direct subscription.

I did this years ago. I've got my main email for my stuff and a separate one for streaming etc.

It also limits spam in my main account.
