BT TV Pro Cancel

Hi,

I'm currently reviewing a few things and can't seem to find an answer online.

I have a really rubbish aerial so when the BT TV Pro box got updated to receive all channels via internet I was over the moon.

My question is, if I were to change ISP but keep my BT TV box, would this still work or is it authenticated via my connection with BT/multicast?

I can't find any other YouView/FreeView STBs that can supply live TV channels via internet.

I think EE is the only ISP that the Box Pro will still work on.

f you leave BT/EE - then the box has to be returned.

An EETV subscription is required for the channels in IP mode to function even if you still have BT broadband, and you can’t have an EETV subscription on anything other than a BT/EE broadband connection.

Keep an eye on Freely. At the moment you need a new TV but hopefully an app for existing TVs will appear, or a streaming box.
