Youview remote

Have started to power down box and tv at night, given energy situation. Now when I plug in and (eventually, even in smart mode) Youview wakes up … remote doesnt work and box not responding to its own buttons. Only thing that seems to get remote going are multiple reboots of the box from power off and multiple resets of the remote (Youview+AD+DEL, *5 secs). Any ideas? Note that any suggestions to go to Settings are not helpful - I can’t.

Assume a standard set top DTR… model 91-00931

I have exactly the same issue.

The remote will initially switch the box on, but once it has booted up, nothing.

Multiple reboots eventually works, but so far tonight we have five reboots and no luck

In the original poster report from 2022 they said

Is that exactly what you are experiencing , as if the box is not responding to its own buttons (on top of the box) then it is unlikely to be remote that is the problem ?

If that is the case and neither the remote nor the set top box own buttons are responding then you probably would be best try a maintenance mode reset (preserving recordings initially)
