Youview 4K box shuts down when skipping forwards (same issue on 2 boxes now)

I don't subscribe to BTTV but have still been able to use the box as a hard drive recorder for Freeview. A while ago I found that skipping through a recording could cause the box to crash and immediately shut down. I got another box donated from a friend and this has been fine for a while but it's now doing the same thing. Wondering if there is something in the latest software update because it seems odd that I get the same issue over 2 boxes. Has anyone else come across this?

This is also happening to me on two boxes, the older recently died with a hard disk failure, but was suffering from total crashes when fast forwarding through a recording. Powering up via the the remote shows BT logo and you-view screens, same as a mains power on.

BT sent me a replacement, which I then manged to cause the same crash shortly after going through the initial setup with the replacement box.
