Can you watch recordings on a tv connected via amini box?

Can you remove the banner at the bottom when fast forwarding?

The Box Mini can neither record, nor play back recordings made on a Box Pro.

And I’ve never seen any way of removing the banner.

So basically I’m paying for a service way inferior to Sky. I really really wish I’d not been talked into having a EE BOX.

Yes, this seems to be the number one gripe 😢

But the thing to embrace is that almost everything you want is available On Demand - and you can start watching something on either Box Pro or Box Mini, and move seamlessly from one to the other, picking up where you left off.

The exception is probably sport that has only just been live; but certainly both the Box Mini and the EE AppleTV box are predicated on the idea that you will no longer need to record; and that if it isn’t quite true yet, it very soon will be.

And indeed, Sky Glass and Sky Stream are also predicated on this same idea.
