BT TV Box Pro

I have had a BT TV Box Pro for a few years now and generally it has behaved well. However, today it has started behaving badly.

It is connected to HDMI2 on my TV. However, when I switch to HDMI2 with the BT Box on, I get a "No signal" message. I have checked all the connections which are fine and connected it to HDMI1 (which I know to be working correctly) but with the same result. I have done a re-boot by pressing the centre button until it starts flashing, but that made no difference, and nor did disconnecting it from the electricity supply for a minute or two. Clearly I cannot do a factory reset as there is nothing to see on the screen.

What else can I try please?

Midnight_Voice,

Thank you very much for that. Following that procedure got as far as the logo appearing on the screen, but then that faded away and, once again, I was left with a blank screen. Looks like a phone call.
