The main annoyance of using BT TV is the banner message in screen when a new recording starts. It’s intrusive and distracts from what you are watching. Are there any plans to provide an option to turn this off?

One assumes as this had no replies this can’t be turned off? Seems a huge oversight to have this missing from the options?

No you can’t turn it off.

And personally, I welcome it, though I wouldn’t in the least mind if it was made optional.

But anybody who thinks that is the worst thing about EETV has obviously never watched such a recording, and found that, just before the end, it
