Thanks for your response.

The EE box is the latest release Pro from November 24.

Delving into this, it seems that the EE box finds the Freesat default come what may, even though Freesat is set to a non default channel. Never a problem with my Humax.

Looks like it's progress 🤬

EE box remote control frequencies?

I cannot find this documented, hence question.

I have just replaced an ageing Humax Freesat box with a new 4K Freesat box. I had to change the remote frequency on the new Freesat (there are 6 remote channels) to avoid a clash with the EE box. If I switch the EE box ON the Freesat box switches OFF so still some sort of clash. Can the EE remote frequency be changed?

@DigitalDave

What is the EE box you are using? The remote works the Box by Bluetooth, but the TV by IR, so I’d guess it’s the TV On/Off that’s triggering the Freesat box.

The EE box can’t be changed, but as you know the current frequency triggers the Freesat box, hopefully any one of the other five will prevent this. (He says, very optimistically).
