Yesterday full fibre was installed at my home. There was a problem with the landlines that is being sorted, but the Apps on the TV then would not load. There seems to be a problem with the mini-connectors, one downstairs by the TV and one upstairs by the computer. One connector has all 3 blue lights but the other one will only show one or possibly 2 blue lights. The power light is so weak it can hardly be seen. I went on the BT chat line last night for over 2 hours and they had me use the re-set buttons on the connectors but nothing has worked. The chat line operator suggested I go to the settings and use Wi-Fi rather than the aerial but I do not want to do this as I would lose the Freeview services. I think I need new connectors but would like some advice.

Swapping to internet mode would not help. I would try and reset the adapters by unplugging them and back in then try and re-pair them. Make sure they are directly plugged into the wall and not an extension wire and the two plugs need to be on the same ring main / electric circuit and all should be ok if not you can try swapping to wireless as a connection method, that can be done in the settings and you wouldn't loose Freeview. Failing that call customer service and they can help some more
