Massive increase in picture pixelation on TV channels

Please help! For a few weeks, now, I have been getting poor picture signal quality on most channels between 001 and 200 (330 upwards seem okay). For years I had the occasional pixelation on a small number of channels which I attributed to weather but now it is all the time and on lots of channels that were never affected previously. When pixelation occurs, the signal strength is 100 and steady and the signal quality is bouncing up and down between 100 and less than 50. I have two in-line attenuators - the 6dB still allows 100% signal strength and the 9dB drops the strength to 98. Either one fails to improve the signal quality. I have a Sony TV maybe 7 or 8 years old. I don't have the HD package for BT TV. Streaming channels are steady (I have 900 fibre). What advice can anyone give me to sort it out? I just wish all live TV channels could be streamed!

@ronshep It is possible to have all of your channels streamed if you have the Pro tv box and have it set up in IP mode. You won’t get as many channels as in aerial mode, but it may resolve your issue.
https://ee.co.uk/help/tv-sport/manage-use/channel-guide

Thanks for the info. I think I have a Pro tv box so I will have a look at setting it up in IP mode.

I'm being polite by using the word sensitive btw.

I have removed the aerial and done a factory reset and now everything is fine. Thanks once again!

Thanks but I opted to remove the aerial instead. If I should decide that I need the missing channels, I will take your advice so thank you!
