Anyone else noticed new tvs no longer turn on/off from the pro box remote. My new Sony and Hisense certainly don't.

My Panasonic does. You need to keep the button depressed for longer. Are you doing that?

Yes I read that also...it doesn't work.

For years never a problem at first thought it was just the inexpensive Hisense but my brand new QLED Sony is also doing it.

Not really a problem as the new Sony has built in youview and I never record any more so the pro box is cupboard bound.
