Ee TV box pro. Interface does not go away on play after fast forward

When skipping through the preamble or adverts and resuming play, the on screen interface often does not go away.

Rarely pressing the back button clears it, usually we have to pause the recording and go back to the home screen, before resuming from the MYTV recordings and watchlist!

Is it just me, is it fixable or is it a feature?

On my previous BT TV box there was a setting for changing how long the on screen display stayed; this box has so few options and the Bluetooth controller causes more irritations in how dumbed down it is.

The OSD should go off after a short period of time. If it's getting stuck permanently (until you pause and restart again) it may point to a glitch.

Try a reboot by unplugging the EE TV box from the wall for 30 seconds, then plugging it back in.
If that doesn't work, consider a light or full reset, ensuring you're using the correct method for your EE TV Box Pro.
