I’m considering getting BT/EE TV. Will the Amazon Prime App work ?

Yes there is a Prime Video App on the EETV Pro , EETV Mini and (by download from the App Store) available on the EETV Apple Tv box.

There is a BUT though as the app does not have the same range of features and functionality on the various devies.

Differences include abiliity/inability to pause sports events (eg football) and Availability or otherwise of the Freevee streaming channels.

I’ve been with Sky for many years but I am considering changing to BT TV due to Sky’s poor customer service. I’m trying to fathom out the differences between the two systems. Plus I am unable to have a TV aerial on my property.

A few points

BT customer service is just as bad, probably worse

You can't really compare EE tv to Sky as the latter is vastly superior

If you have no aerial then EEtv is not for you as it doesn't even deliver all the freeview channels online.

Tell me how to watch MotoGP on Sky without paying extra for all their other content? Which platform is best for each person depends firstly on what they want to watch.
