How the heck do I renew my BT Big Sport TV?...

- I had/have a BT TV & Broadband package for almost the past 2 years which is still under a 24 month contract but in the last 3 months renewal stage.

-I renewed the broadband a week ago. Not sure why I didn't do it all at once. I guess I didn't notice that by renewing the TV it also renews the broadband at the same time. Just sod's law I chose to click buttons and renew the broadband.

- Today I have gone on the BT website and tried to renew the TV - Big Sport. So it's taken me through the process of renewing page by page showing the cost ~£56 per month. Then it loads the next page and says 'Stay on you EE deal' £0 with no options to tell it to **bleep** off and that I'm trying to renew...

So it's not letting me renew- why? I am pretty sure I can renew, it's 53 days left before current deal expires. What am I supposed to do to renew and why does this stupid system take me through the process and then stop me without explaining why it isn't renewing it on a fresh 24 month term?

Why the rush? Just let it run down then renew. For the record just witnessed the mighty reds become champions in glorious uhd on now tv for £20 a month which will I will cancel at the end of the season . Then renew with the obligatory offer from now come September.

Can't understand why people pay more for less
