EE box losing internet when turning on

Hello, my EE box quite often gives an internet error once loaded. I have to resre the router and the EE box and then it works. It does not happen every time and there seems no pattern to it. I used to have an old version BT recordable box that didn’t have this issue. Once I do have an internet connection it all works fine without issue , it just seems to be the opening sequence for the EE box

I still have the same BT router

has anyone else had the same issues turning on their EE TV box and getting a no internet connection error ?

How is the box connected to the router? Ethernet, wi-fi or power adapter?
