In the watchlist it automatically selects the last episode you watched so you just select the next one to the right on the list

TV Box UI

Why do developers have to remove function from a UI. Once on My TV - Watch List you would automatically have the next episode of a series to watch shown. Now you cannot tell which you have watched already. I now find it easier to go and use the BBC IPlayer itself where I can easily tell what is next in the series.

Also on start up you used to be on the main menu. As my main use is My TV, I now have to get onto the menu then go down to select the My TV option. Which used to be easy to do. Why can't I select what my initial option is rather than it be selected for me.

A classic example of developers making changes just to so it seems they are useful.😡

All TV boxes which have received the new UI work in the same way, on your watch list it will either be playing the very end of a program (If you existed out) and will run onto the next one in a few seconds once you begin to play it or you can wait till the next episode clicks over then exit so it would be on that one when it starts - the UI change has not changed how it works.

The only changes have been a clean up of the main page with the menus being on the side menu - personally I think its cleaner and easier to follow and acts a lot more like Netflix menu but its a matter of taste

I would agree that the route to access MY TV Watchlist is more cumbersome with the new UI home page.

@peterthebike indicates his main use is MY TV so has a valid point.

I have a remote control code on my Harmony remote that takes me straight to the My TV page. This was a code that was not used on the original remote control. Can't remember how it was discovered nor the process to add it to the Harmony but I think it is could be on the Harmony database.
