gomezz,

Thank you for that reply. I will try what you suggest the next time that it happens. However, the slightly odd thing is that it has only recently started happening even though I have had the Box for nearly four years.

Playback of ITV Recordings

My set up is a Sony TV, the BTTV Box Pro and a Sonos Beam soundbar. Recordings on the Box Pro are all made through an aerial rather than over the internet.

Recently I have encountered a specific problem when playing back recordings of ITV programmes. In particular, the playback will start normally, but when I fast forward through the adverts I immediately lose all sound. As it has happened in exactly the same way on a number of occasions I am thinking that it cannot be coincidence.

Has anyone else encountered this and is there a known reason for it?

This could be the same old long-running issue that has afflicted all models of Youview boxes since they were first launched. Never been fixed or even addressed as far as I am aware, When it happens to me a brief Pause/Play usually brings the sound back or a skip back.
