Access Appletv+

Was previously watching 'Slow Horses" and got end of series four then gave it a rest. Now find I am unable to get back in. I was signing in on the app with email and password which took me to another screen with a six figure verification code. To put this in I have to leave the screen I am on which takes me back to signing in. I thought I had overcome this by using my laptop email for the code. This worked on the mobile app but I still cannot sign in on the Boxpro. Any ideas anyone.

When you are signing in with your AppleID to AppleTV on the Box Pro and it takes you to a 6 digit code on the TV screen do you mean its showing the 6 digit code itself or has a box to enter a 6 digit code? If its the box to enter the code, why is you then need to visit another screen? If its the code itself where is it saying to input the code?

As usually if a code is appearing on the TV/device itself its for you to then visit a link on your phone to enter the code and register the device with your subscription. If it was a verification code for security typically it would send a code via text or e-mail to enter on the TV.

@Alex_H thanks for your reply and sorry for late reply as otherwise engaged. All sorted now. Think I was one step ahead of myself as every time I was using app was having to sign in which did not seem right. All sorted now. Thanks
