Good news for BT Broadband customers, TV on BT Broadband is now BT TV. By bringing TV together with BT Broadband, customers can enjoy a smoother more seamless experience.

While the name is changing, the entertainment you love isn't.

You'll still be able to enjoy great TV, sport and streaming in one place, with access to NOW Entertainment & HBO Max, Netflix, TNT Sports, live TV channels and much more. And because BT TV is built around simple search and seamless access to live TV and streaming, it's easier to find something to watch without hopping between different apps and services.

What's changing?

Most customers will simply notice new BT branding across their TV experience.

This includes:

your TV home screen
companion apps and digital touchpoints
BT branding on new TV hardware
the light on your existing TV box changing from aqua to blue

Other than that, everything should feel very familiar.

Your package, subscriptions, recordings, bill and the content you enjoy today will stay exactly the same.

All Sky Sports channels through NOW Sports
TNT Sports
All Sky Cinema channels through NOW Cinema
Apple TV free for 3 months
Disney+, Paramount+, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, and many more (separate subscription required)

Most BT TV packages come with a recordable BT TV Box Pro.

Common questions

Do I need to do anything?

The changes will happen automatically. To make sure your TV box receives all updates, we recommend leaving it plugged in and on standby overnight.

What happens to the EE TV mobile app?

From 15^th October, simply open the EE TV app and follow the instructions to download the BT TV app.

Please keep the EE TV app installed until your move is complete. We'll let you know in the BT TV app when everything has transferred successfully and it's safe to delete the EE TV app.

Will my recordings disappear?

No. Existing recordings and content subscriptions won't be affected by the move to BT TV.

Will my bill change?

No. Your billing, package, subscriptions and pricing won't change.

According to what I’ve been told direct NOW customers who sign up for the new football only channels package don’t get UHD either. So the grass isn’t always greener on the other side kiddo.

I love the way they took the original BT TV and re-labelled it EE TV - it was made out to be a wonderful NEW experience.

They have now taken the EE TV and re-labelled it back to BT TV - and it is wonderful and NEW again!

With Ultra Boost, you can also enjoy selected shows and movies in UHD HDR (on supported devices). With an All Sky Sports Membership (or Day Membership) and Ultra Boost, you get access to 4 live UHD sports channels (Sky Sports Main Event & Sky Sports F1, plus 2 ad-hoc channels, Sky Sports UHD 1 & 2). Multi-Sport Members get one UHD channel (Sky Sports F1). No UHD channels are included with Football Membership.
