I totally agree in the changing provider . I have had no problems ever up untill last sunday always been fine but now my downloads is 0.3kbps come on ya having a laff . my 3g is faster on my phone . Had engineer out said every thing ok here and exchange. Its higher up who supply bt . Any way bt said tuesday mine going to be sorted by ,i bet you its not and i told the nice women at bt if its not i will cancel !! contract or not as this is not what i signed up for and it will be cancelled i promise that ......
i dont want the hassle of changing suppler but i need broadband for my work not dial up .. then again dial up is faster than this .. i will be getting in touch with ofcom as this is not acceptable and theres a lot in the same situation but bt will still want full money for this string and 2 bake bean tin internet .........

So you have no extensions.
And your old BT socket is split into 2 parts? .... broadband and phone?
I take it , it's not the new type of SSFP .... adsl v1.

Okay a little update and things are looking up, my router restarted itself last night while I was sleeping.
Here are the current stats.

And the speedteest hasn't changed yet
So I've got my speeds back, but I assume I have to give my profile time to catch up?

3 days appeared to be the standard for adslmax but from personal experience it appears that adsl2+ can take 5/6 days sometimes longer before updating
