Hi, first post so apologies if I miss anything... For about 4 weeks now my router has been disconnecting from the broadband line approx every 6-12 hours. I have a homehub 2, the 'broadband' light goes out before flashing orange and reconnecting.
The event log below is typical:

The router is attached to the test socket and I have tried a number of different filters with no difference.
There is a small amount of interference on the quiet line test with a corded phone but I'm not sure how 'quiet' it should be...
I have now had three faults raised and closed and I don't seem to be any closer to getting anything resolved..

if you tried the quiet line test then you should hear no noise and any noise will affect your broadband and you need to report a phone fault not broadband to 151- get this fixed and then sort your broadband
from your stats it looks like you are in a banded profile due to all the disconnections and you need to get rid of the noise to get a stable connection before you can get out of banding and get a better connection
once you get it fixed and with your attenuation I would expect a connection speed of about 17mb

Out of interest, do the disconnections effect your network connection? I always have to disable and re-enable mine.

My internal network stays up each time, I just lose broadband.
Further to this, I was suspicious of the corded phone I was using to check for interference. Tesco value's finest corded phone gives a completely silent line on 17070 so I guess that side of things is OK after all. Any other words of wisdom?

Long story short, I finally managed to persuade BT to send an engineer and it turned out that next door's tree was leaning on the phone line and disconnecting it every so often. A new wire later and I have 16mb broadband...
