I pay and use this hub and only use the cabled ethernet to my PC,not wifi.
Two other people live in my shared house and use their laptop internet connections through my BT hub 2.0.
Everytime one of them connects,my internet disconnects!
Is there a way of disconnecting wifi on the hub so only the cabled ethernet works?
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Home Hub v2: Go to 'Settings' > 'Advanced Settings' (Hub v2), select 'Wireless', then disable wireless connection

You first need to check whether you're a member of BT Fon because all new BT Total Broadband customers will be automatically opted into BT FON. Existing customers (since March 2009) will already be members of BT FON unless they have opted out.
If you don't opt out the facility to turn wifi off isn't available.
Alternatively you could set your hub into power save mode. This stops wifi connections but still allows wired connections. Set power save to a time when they're in!!

You could change the wireless encryption key and not tell anyone.
Copy & paste one of these.
