Activated on ADSL Max not ADSL 2 / 2+

Hi,

As experienced by other user on this forum I appear to have been activated on ADSL Max rather than ADSL 2/2+.

Would it be possible to move me across?

On my previous supplier I had a solid ~10500\800Kbps ADSL 2 connection, I now seem limited to 8096\448Kbps. The limited upload is the real issue for me.

Cheers & thanks in advance,

Mark

I can't see any reason why wholesale put you on adslmax apart from the estimated speed is the same for adslmax and adsl2.  the mods wuill help and will post a contact us link

Re: Activated on ADSL Max not ADSL 2 / 2+

Hi Guys,

Line was moved over to ADSL2 yesterday and speeds are good. However, whenever i use the phone the adsl drops. There is also random intermittant noise on the line. Is this due to a line fault? I've tried all the usual swapping router\filters\phone & using the test socket with the same result.

Cheers,

Mark

Re: Activated on ADSL Max not ADSL 2 / 2+

if you have tried all the usual - test socket new filter etc - then it would appear to be a line fault which you need to report to 151
