Advice Required

Go to solution
Recent line fault. Now fixed. Speed low @ 256Kbps. Now doubled (4 days ago) to 512Kbps. Been connected for nearly 5 days. See stats below. How long do I have to wait for speed to return to normal. Normal being around 2.2Mbps on my stats.
Also, there was a note on my account to say LEAVE ON INTERLEAVED. Long line and last engineer said my line can't cope well with FAST latency type.

At that line's attenuation, which is pushing it, you'll need help with that. DLM would normally repair a connection over a 10 day period if it saw improvements beyond what the line data is sugggesting. It's profile banded and can take weeks to come out left alone. I suggest you get moderator help with that, and a reset. (and an interleaved one at that)

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.

 

First try a single restart, as @RogerB has suggested, and see if the connection speed improves.

Restart. No change. Why has my account flipped to FAST? Why has the flag on my account been ignored. Useless.
