I'm new here, not technically brilliant.
Home Hub 4.0 tybe B has been rebooting, flashing red several times most evenings for several weeks.
On line tests/speed tests show line ok and stable, but there may be wi-fi or internal wiring problem.
My question is, would the router drop out/reboot because of this, or only due to external factors such as a line or exchange problem ?
Nothing is being used, switched on or off in the house to trigger the drop outs during the evening.
Any ideas or suggestions to establish the reason would be most welcome.
Is there any noise on your phone line when you make and receive calls?
Also try it when the dropouts occur.
Thanks for the reply - occasionally line is noisy but quiet line test was ok. I'll try it the next time we have a drop out.
