Broadband light flashing pink/orange

For the past 2 months, by bt homehub 3 has been playing up. Every 30 minutes (precisely 30 minutes) the broadband light flashes pink/orange/off and repeats. This only occurs for 20+ seconds, and since I am a gamer, getting kicked out of games is very aggravating. Has anybody heard of this in the past? Anyone know if a new homehub will help?

You posted about 2 weeks ago but never posted the information requested by john46. Which would enable the forum member or mods to help you

Re: Broadband light flashing pink/orange

You have a very high noise margin this has been caused by hub restarts /disconnections you now need to post your adsl stats again in 3+ days if the noise margin is still high the we can get the forum mods involved to carry out a noise margin reset which will increase your speed

are you connected to the test socket

have you tried the quiet line test dial 17070 option 2 you should hear no noise if you can then it needs reporting to BT faults on 151 with no mention of broadband in the call

Re: Broadband light flashing pink/orange

Is your connection still dropping as often or are you resetting the router to try and improve your connection or a combination of both?
