Change from ADSL to ADSL2+

Go to solution

Change from ADSL to ADSL2+ We have 2 lines into our house, both with BT - the one is on ADSL and the other on ADSL2+.

I would like both on ADSL2+.  Can this be done?

Any help will be appreciated.

From the tplink stats the upgrade to adsl2 will make little improvement to the down speed but should give maybe 100% more up speed

i have asked mods to see if they can help you and they will post here with link

Thank you but where we live every megabyte counts enormously. I sincerely hope they can help.

Hi @Voucher

Welcome to the community and thanks for your posts.

We can check about the possibility of upgrading your line to ADSL2(+).  It shouldn't be a problem as you have ADSL2 on your second line but I'd like to double check from here before promising anything.

It doesn't look like there will be much of a change to your downstream speed but you'll see an upstream speed improvement as the upstream speed on ADSL2(+) is up to 1meg.

Click on my username here >> RobbieMac << and you'll see our contact link underneath my profile picture.

Cheers,

Robbie
