Connection keeps dropping

Have been on the phone numerous times about this been happening for about 2 months.

Connection is dropping far to much, so i thought id take a look on the event log.

Ive checked the timing of the disconnections with this message  PPP LCP Send Termination Request, any idea on why this is happening, been going on for a while had numerous line checks.

Bthomehub 3 is connected to the test/master socket.

Sync speed isnt to bad but the ip profile is getting screwed up by all the disconnections, currently getting 0.3.

Any help appreciated.

Download speedachieved during the test was - 0.34 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 0.05 Mbps-0.5 Mbps.

IP Profile for your line is - 0.35 Mbps

Re: Connection keeps dropping

when you say conencted to test/master socket are you actually in the test socket and using a new filter if possible?

your profile is very low hence the low download speed.  the profile would normally recover automatically to about 5.5mb given a stable conenction 24/7 for 3/5 days maybe sooner.  If you could get your noise margin down then you should get the 8mb connection speed being max for adslmax conenctions

Re: Connection keeps dropping

Plugged in directly to the test socket, with a new filter i got sent a few weeks ago. im not worried about the speed because it does always go back to 5/6ish megs, but it disconnects far to frequently which is the problem

Re: Connection keeps dropping

Noise seemed smooth.

Nothing in my house with anything on that list has changed in the past 2 months, its suddenly just started happening.

Still curious as to why the termination request is being sent to the router?
