Re: Dlm reset ease

Thanks John, just a quick question, we had mentioned reverting back to dsl max, would me forcing the modulation to g.gmt on 21cn produce the same results as a switch back at the exchange? Would it be worth a try once the train period is over for a week to get a comparison? Currently on adsl2+ for the training, but I defiantly had noticeably less errors on adsl2 before, I believe it uses the same frequency as gmt? Cheers

Hi @warrenshaw22 I'm not sure about the frequencies just that they are 2 different technologies. We will see how things settle over the next few days and if you want to try Adsl Max then I can arrange to change it back to that for you.

Cheers
John

Re: Dlm reset ease

Hi John, unfortunately the connection banded back down to 2271 last night.
If I could request the switch back adsl max well give that a go as I feel it may perform better.
I've changed wiring and you've been more than helpful your end, so if we switch it back and it happens again I'll just accept for some reason I'm not getting the speed I used to and we may call it a day 😊

Re: Dlm reset ease

Hi John, not sure if the Dlm has switched modulation itself , or back to 20cn, but on g.dmt this morning.
So far it looks extremely promising, first four hours of sync is showing no errors whatsoever at a sync of 3200 up , which is virtually the same as the 2+. Upstream also showing no errors at all, when dsl2 had a lot. Will post up stats middle of next week, but so far looking very promising. Oddly, my upstream is near 1000 which was making me think Dlm switched modulation itself?
If you could just let me know if it was switched over manually or if it was Dlm itself because of it was Dlm itself switch8ng modulation probably no need to move back. Either way it is performing very well. Thanks
