I recently noticed a drop in my broadband speed. Speed is 5-6meg to my premises, but only .5 to 1.5meg from the BT Hub 1.5. I've normally connect via wifi, so I connected my PC directly to the hub via the ethernet (PC was upstairs and I set it up downstairs next to the hub). The was no increase in speed.
I've spoken to the tech team (via chat) and I have been told that my exchange has been updated, and my "old" BT Hub cannot cope with the new signal.
I've been told that a "new" hub would solve the problem. Is this the case?
I need to have this confirmed before I pay for a new hub (hub3 or 4, I suppose).
