I have had an intermittent fault in broadband for 6 months
Finally died two weeks ago
Reported it
Reply was all fixed
Reported again

The report is for a phone fault and it’s a broadband fault running slow or not at all Slow meaning 1/4 instead of 5 . Not at all means no connection.

How do I make sure they are looking at broadband Have phoned twice to change it & failed! Tried to change contact numbers and failed ... not going well, but hoping an engineer arrives in the morning ready to do broadband not phones!

is your phone currently working?  if so try quiet line test  dial 17070 option 2  should be silent apart from announcement and best with corded phone

can you post stats from your hub?

enter your phone number and post results  delete number but leave exchange and cab number  https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html

The engineer arrived this morning and fixed it all. Fault was outside &!i understand in two separate places.
