Fuming with BT can't wait to go back to Sky!!!

So I have regretted going with BT from sky since September last year, I am really looking forward to my contract ending.

When I moved BT offered me a better deal and with there reputation I thought I would change from sky to BT, BIG mistake!

My problems:
Internet Connection -
Sky - connection to the internet was really fast and reliable
BT - slow and I lose internet all together

Call centres -
Sky - friendly, helpful, and can understand and speak English properly!
BT - can't understand me, hang up on me and rude

Payment fees:
Sky - no late payment or Re-instatement fee
BT - £7.50 late payment charge and a £12 re- instatement fee

Just sick of getting rubbish off staff, long waiting times and all together rubbish service, I wouldn't recommend BT to anyone!!!!
Has anyone ended there contract early? How much do BT charge for that?

You can end your contract early if you pay cancellation fees just like skt or tt or any other ISP

 cancellation charges

However if you would like help from the forum members who are customers just like you then you need to post some information

in order for the forum members to help please can you post the adsl stats from your router you may need to 'show detail' to get all stats (if hub enter in your browser and navigate to adsl or if HH4/5 then go to troubleshooting then logs and you are looking for 2 line together when hub last connected to internet and they will show your connection speed and noise margin or if netgear enter Then run  btspeedtester  (MAC users may have problems). when first test completes then run diagnostic test and post the results ( do not reset the router).

are you connected directly via a filter to the NTE5 master or test socket or to somewhere else? Is the master the only phone socket in your home?

Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal

Someone may then be able to offer help/assistance/suggestions to your problem
