11 days without Broadband & it seems I'm no nearer getting service restored.
They've stopped the Red Broadband Light Authentication issue
Now it's solid orange & no Authentication happening at all in the event log.
The Openreach engineer has told me that they've upgraded the DSLAM? in the exchange & the problem is somewhere between where my wires enter the exchange & connect to the BT Broadband service
They have a Network Engineer working the problem but that's been 36 hours now & no one is telling me anything
How do I get BT to do something or tell me what's going on - ringing the helpline is a waste of time.
I'm supposed to have an "Escalation Manager" assigned to me but haven't heard a thing to date
Problem resolved after 15 days - cabling problems in the exchange after an upgrade thanks to all who gave me helpful suggestions
