Re: IP Profile issues

Hi @Webby

I don't use the BT equipment - I only usually plug it in to get those stats.

Cheers,

CT

Hi @Webby

I can't....I will try get onto the modem and get it.

My sync speed seems to have increased when I tested in my work:

For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 0.05 Mbps-0.25 Mbps.
 Additional Information:
 Your DSL Connection Rate :8.13 Mbps(DOWN-STREAM), 0.45 Mbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 0.14 Mbps

Re: IP Profile issues

I try to be but I don't pay to be patient every 4-6 weeks when I've had it fixed in hours before 🙂

Re: IP Profile issues

Test Result

For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 0.05 Mbps-0.25 Mbps.
 Additional Information:
 Your DSL Connection Rate :7.58 Mbps(DOWN-STREAM), 0.45 Mbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 0.14 Mbps

The sync speed has now dropped to 7.58 mbps. I will contact BT India.

Re: IP Profile issues

Have you tried the quiet line test dial 17070 option 2 you should hear no noise if you can hear noise then it needs reporting to BT faults on 151 with no mention of broadband in the call

There is no point in resetting the IP Profile if the connection is unstable as it will just drop again as you have already found out

Re: IP Profile issues

No noise on the line.

Day 3 of having an ip profile of 0.14mbps.
How many more days?
I haven't reset or touched anything.

Will contact BT India tomorrow night if not resolved.

I've had this EXACT problem fixed in hours, not 10 days.

What's the minimum speed I should receive until I am due a claim or official complaint?

Appreciate the help all.

Re: IP Profile issues

the normal time is 3/5 days you need to check your routers connection time as any disconnection takes the time back to the start again
