Internet keeps dropping connection

Hi everyone, Been with BT a while now and most of it has been great, since yesterday or the day before the router keeps losing connection

Seems like the connection drops when this message is recieved: PPP LCP Send Termination Request [User request]

if nothing have you tried a factory reset of the hub?

 

have you tried conencting to test socket with a new filter

 

try quiet lne test  dial 17070 option 2  should be quiet and best with a corded phone

No exchange problems reported. 

Tried factory resetting hub, no change also tried two other hubs yesterday a HH5 and a third party TP-LINK. All seemed to have the same issue

connected to test socket and new filter image below:

Lost connection whilst writing this post, speed dropped to 15Mb now.

Quiet line test seemed bad, was quite crackly

If you have a crackly phone line, then it is going to play havok with your broadband. If this is happening in the test socket, then you need to phone 151 and report a voice fault with no mention of the dropping broadband in the call. When the crackly phone line problem is solved, your broadband will steadily improve in time.

As your noise margin is dropping below 3db, then it's likely your broadband will keep disconnecting and may result in a banded profile with high noise margin.
