Internet suddenly stopped - solid blue light

Hi all, the other night all my devices (mac, android, TV etc) just disconnected and since then I've not had boardband... My hub6 has a solid blue light which according to live chat means all is ok. Ive logged into the hub and it says it connected, but no devices are working and web pages on my Mac book come up with the error secure connection failed... Anyone have any ideas

Try resetting it.

I've done that, and reset it and had bt run a test and they said it all fine

Unplug it from the phone socket, wait about three minutes, then plug it back in again and wait for the light to go blue again. That should give you a different public IP address, just in case you are connected to a stale session.

 

Is anything connected using an Ethernet cable, and does it work? Is it just wireless devices that are affected?

Most likely you will need a replacement. Seem to be a lot of faulty HH6 out there.

Ahhhh getting somewhere, Ethernet is working, plugged into sky box, wireless not. Does that sound faulty?

Might be worth trying a factory re-boot. There is usually a small button that has to be pressed with a paperclip for 10 seconds.

As @fosterl2 has mentioned, a factoy reset might help. You can find instructions on how to do that at How do I reset my BT Hub to its factory settings? Can you let me know if that helps?

Hi, I've Tried that also, nothing is working, seems like a hardware issue. I've contacted bt and they are going to send me a new hub 6. Thanks for all your help
