still quite a lot of errors for <24hrs conencted. speed increased from last stats but noise margin about the same. how is throughput at night?
Ah right, so those errors could explain the problems Im having? Not sure I quite understand the question, but it seems to be the same anytime of day.
normally during the day the errors are less as there is less demand on the lines but as evening starts the demand increases ( kids in from school, people home form work) and your noise margin starts to drop causing your errors to increase. if bad enough this can reduce your throughput so even though connection speed is ok eveything just seems to run slower than during the day
Ah I see, no seems the same any time of day. Havent tried really late at night though.
One thing I noticed is the BT Home Hub wont let forward port 3659 and is blocked:
After googling it seems this port is vital for online gaming with EA games. Does BT block this port? As it seems this could explain the problems Im having, or do you have any other suggestions.
