LAzy question about resync timescale

I've been tidying up and have unplugged my hub2 a few times

I'm on an 8meg profile when normally I'm 14mb

How long untill i sync back to normal speed - I've also gained noise on my line - usually 6db now 14db

Re: LAzy question about resync timescale

Hi when your line noise returns to the default 6 db then your speed will increase as will your profile you have had some disconnects that have caused your noise margin and and ip profile problems i see you have mailed the mods then I would
leave it in there hands they will get the resets done providing your line has now stabilised just a matter of waiting now

Re: LAzy question about resync timescale

It will usually take between 3 and 5 days for the line to stabilise and for your speed to increase and noise margin to reduce.

For the future - if you go to your hub's home page and use the disconnect button the exchange is told and doesn't treat the disconnect as a possible fault / noise.

Re: LAzy question about resync timescale

had to do a reinstall...

download SP1 form microsoft at 1.1MB/sec (bytes not bits)

yet I have an 8Mb profile...

"diconnect button" is a good thing to know

"3-5 days" I can live with that

mods were a bit slow this time.

Re: LAzy question about resync timescale

Your noise has gone down, your sync speed has risen and your IP profile should follow.

Re: LAzy question about resync timescale

so i wonder if the 3-4 days start from when my sync speed corrected itself?

8mb is not enough, its amazing how much you notice.

Someone starts browsing on their phone and everypage just hangs a little bit, micorstutters during streaming of iplayer/skyplayer. And p2p is throttled for a larger part of the day...

anyway, the mods are in touch now (i think they're really busy)
