Losing Internet Connection

Since our exchange (Offton, Suffolk) and the cabinet closest to us were upgraded for fibre, we are frequently losing our internet connection. This is something that I can't remember happening more than a handful of times in recent years, but it's now happening several times a week. We have the bt home hub 2, which is old tech, I guess. Does anyone think getting a newer hub will help?

The hub 2's does have problems as this link explains http://forumhelp.dyndns.info/hardware/hh2/hh2_issues.html

If you are still in contract you could call CS on 0800 111 4567 and request a new hub
