If it works that's great, however you may want to keep the text below for future reference.
Click on the network icon beside the taskbar clock, click Open Network and Sharing Center, click Local Area Connection, click Properties button, highlight IPv4, click Properties button.
Select Use the following IP address, type in the address, subnet mask will populate automatically then add the default gateway address 192.168.1.254
You can leave the DNS on automatic.
Yes that's a static (unchanging) IP address but I think the settings on that video gave the BT WiFi Fon gateway. Not the default Hub LAN settings. I may be mistaken as I never use hubs and have no need of the Fon but I don't think so.
Perhaps another forum member can verify.
