maintain a stable connection, if his connection is dropping , is he allowed to climb bt poles to carry out repairs ?

A miraculous thing has happened
Since the router reset itself last  time - speeds have gone complelely up.


Download speedachieved during the test was - 1.46 Mbps
 For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 0.4 Mbps-2 Mbps.
 Additional Information:
 Your DSL Connection Rate :1.79 Mbps(DOWN-STREAM), 0.45 Mbps(UP-STREAM)
 IP Profile for your line is - 1.5 Mbps

 

Out of interests sake I am guessing that the exchange did the last automatic router reset.
And as you have explained in other posts it reset the IP profile etc..

yes it looks as if the DLM has reset your line following a period of stable connection pleased all appears back to normal now

I really appreciate what you do.
We have spent ages rebooting the router etc
Without understanding that this is the worst thing one can do.
If I hadn't connected here and 'listened' we could have been in a permanent loop!
