Re: Broadband / wifi dropping on a daily basis

Hi

We are having the same issue.  Between 2:30pm and 4:30pm daily our router crashes and has to reset itself at least once and often twice or three times.  Today it has happened multiple times beyond the usual 4:30pm finish.  In fact it crashed whilst I was typing this message.

I have run a quiet line test and this appears to be normal. I've also checked all the router connections and these appear solid.

The stats are shown below.  Please help as this is making working from home very difficult.

Many thanks in advance.

Andrew

Re: Broadband / wifi dropping on a daily basis

I moved your post to start your own thread as previous thread marked solved

if drops are about same time each day is there anything in your home or near the hub which switches on/off during this time which could cause interference

have you tried connecting to test socket with a filter to eliminate your internal wiring as causing the problem

do the lights on hub change colour?

Re: Broadband / wifi dropping on a daily basis

Hi thanks for moving to a new post.

No, nothing else is switching on / off at that time.  In fact it has happened "early" today, already crashing three time this morning.

The router lights switch off, then orange before returning to blue.

Have previously tried connecting to test socket and this showed all normal.

I am sure the recommendation is to leave the connection to the test socket for a couple of days to see whether the disconnect continues to occur.
