Re: broadband drops out when cordless phone is used

Hi

I am having a similar problem. We have a socket by the door of the house that isn't used and one in the hall that we have a talk talk phone and BT home hub 2 connected to using a adsl filter. Whenever we make or receive a call the broadband drops out for a short amount of time then reconnects. I have unplugged the phone line from the phone base and called the number and the broadband still drops out. Could it be the filters or the internal wiring or a fault on the line?

Re: broadband drops out when cordless phone is used

from your description it sounds like a high resistence fault.  this is a phone fault not a broadband fault so you need to report to TT if they are your phone provider
