Register my address

Go to solution

Hi,

Its my understanding my address needs to be in Openreach's database in order to place broadband through any provider.

Currently the main address for my flat is but not my specific flat number.

How can i get this added as a gold key address

Re: Register my address

Hi @ocarey1327, Openreach use the Royalmail (PAF) postcode address finder database to locate addresses. If your flat number is not on the PAF database it would be treated as a bronze address. In this instance, a line can still be ordered, we manually add the address to our system but may need to wait until the line is active before we can then order the broadband.  A sliver address is one that is on the PAF database but Openreach has no record of providing service there previously.
